Hello Brothers and Sisters,

September! Back to school, Start thinking about the holidays, State convention coming up, and summer is only half over.  Well for us here in So. Cal. It’s only half over. Yeah, we got us 2 maybe 3 months of summer left to go. You gotta love that.

The next time you see Craig say thank you. You have no idea how much that man does around here. And on top of all that, he runs the Coaches golf tournament raising money to help in the education of special needs children. (No man ever stood so tall as when he stooped to help a child.) Thank you Craig. The tournament was a really, well run, fun time. The banquet was fantastic, and I have to say thank you to everyone who brought dishes. I was so stuffed. I would also like to thank everyone who donated time, money, prizes, bought tickets, played golf, and showed up just to support. Thank you all, so very much.

Western Days, what a kick! I had so much fun, great food, wonderful folks, and what a joy to see the kids enjoying the games. Of course it’s always nice to see Sunny & Ace, and Dawn & Dave. Especially when they’re cookin’.  And just an observation,  Don’t try to arrest the bar-b-que chef, especially when he’s the association president, he’ll just burn the warrant and issue a pardon.

Thank you, Dennis the Menace, for the TV in the smoking area donated and installed. That’s how you do it.

I would like to remind you that if you don’t know what’s going on around here. That’s because you aren’t reading your bulletin. Of course this means nothing to those folks, they aren’t reading this. So help spread the word. Here we go, “A free drink to the 27th person who tells me the secret word.” It’s not too hard. It’s like this, each month I will give a secret word somewhere in my, Dennis’ or Linda’s letter. Be the right one with the right word. Get a free drink. Ready? THE TENTH WORD IN THE (  )’S.  that’s not too hard.  Good luck.

FOOTBALL SEASON !!!!! I love it. It’s that time Monday night Football, chili dogs draft specials yeah baby football you bet!  And on the 18th the Buena Park lodge Chili Cook Off. Other lodges are welcome to come over and compete. But why? We’re the best. And of course you have to come out for this. The infamous Buena Park “CAKE OFF”. Yes that’s right you to can be judged by our panel of moose members for the best cake. You may even be a judge. Or just come to the orientation and eat some cake. That’s Saturday the 25th.

Please remember that we are but a small part of a big puzzle, the Moose, but no puzzle can be completed when there are pieces missing. There are a lot of our brothers and sisters missing. Help me to bring them back to the friendliest place in town.  The time is now. Thank you for listening.
